H10: device evaluation: the device was returned for investigation.A visual inspection and functional test were performed.Visual inspection found the device presented a cracked enclosure, a faulty pcb, wear and tear damaged line cord, pole clamp, and tank cover, outdated pcb and power switch.The customer stated problem was duplicated.There was no power so a test pcb and power switch were installed.Plugged the line cord into a power source, turned on the power switch, and the device turned on.The connection between the power switch and pcb was damaged.Replaced: enclosure, tank cover, line cord, and pole clamp.Also upgraded the damaged pcb and power switch.The cause of the reported problem was wear and tear from customer repeated use of the power switch.A manufacturing dhr review was not performed because the results of the complaint investigation do not indicate a problem with the manufacture of the device.No causes or potential causes of the customer's reported problem were found during the review of service and repair records.
