Event Description
|
It was reported that the stent stretched with difficult deployment and an additional stent was placed to cover the area. This eluvia drug-eluting vascular stent 7mm x 120mm x 130cm was selected for use in a percutaneous transluminal angioplasty procedure using the superficial femoral artery as treatment for endovascular therapy. The 100% stenosed target lesion had moderate calcification and severe tortuosity. There was difficultly deploying the stent causing the stent to stretch, and when the post-dilation was poor they decided to deploy another eluvia 7mm x 80mm to cover fully cover the area. The procedure was considered successful, and no patient complications were reported.
