Event Description
Information was received from a healthcare provider (hcp) via a medtronic representative regarding a patient implanted with a spinal product using a pin in a dlif for spinal degeneration at l45.It was reported that the tip of stability pin broke off in l5 vertebral body when removing from vertebral body after inter body implantation completed. there was no injury to the patient.No further complications were reported/ anticipated.
