Event Description
It was reported the patient experienced a return of their pre-implant back and leg pain.Imaging confirmed the implanted superion indirect decompression spacer had slipped off the superior spinous process between the l3-l4 lumbar vertebrae.The physician assessed the cause of the migration was due to the patient's active lifestyle as a caregiver.The patient underwent a revision procedure where the device was replaced and did well post-operatively.The explanted spacer was discarded by the facility and was not returned for analysis.
