Event Description
|
It was reported that the patient was experiencing intermittent weakness and shortness of breath.The patient noted that their at home pulse oximeter indicated a heart rate between 35-45 beats per minute for approximately ten minutes which is below the lower rate of the cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d).The crt-d remains in use. no further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.

|
It was further reported from follow-up communication that the patient symptoms were not related to a product performance issue as it could not be confirmed that the device was pacing below the lower programmed rate.The patient also experienced fluid retention and decreased urine output.
