It was reported that the float switch was bad.No patient injury was reported.
 
Manufacturer Narrative
A device history record (dhr) review was conducted which indicated all inspections were completed and no issues were noted, during manufacture.A product device was received for evaluation.Visual and functional testing were performed.Visual inspection found filthy block assembly, wear and tear damaged to the line cord.Functional testing couldn't confirm reported issue.The root cause of the issue could not be determined.Float switch function as it should contrary to the customer complaint.No action taken.No product information has been provided to date.This remediation mdr was generated under protocol b10009406, as a result of warning letter cms# 617147.
