It was reported that the physician reached out to technical services (ts) to review the time that the therapy took to be delivered to this patient with a cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d).Upon review, it was determined that the patient's self-conducted ventricular rhythm accelerated to the ventricular fibrillation (vf) zone, as a result of the delay in therapy, which was related to the time charge. No programming options were recommended, the crt-d is operating as programmed.Currently, this crt-d remains in service and no additional adverse patient effects were reported.
