The company was informed that the recipient's device was explanted due to inflammation inside the ear.The recipient was admitted to the hospital after explant surgery.The inflammation reportedly resolved after surgery.The recipient was not reimplanted.Advanced bionics is still in the process of obtaining additional information.When additional information is received, a supplemental report will be submitted.
