According to literature source of study performed between march 2015 and february 2018, a retrospective study analyzed outcomes in patients who underwent either laparoscopic liver resection or open liver resection for hepatocellular carcinoma.In the laparoscopic group, parenchymal transection was performed with a combination of ligasure and other devices.Ligasure was not used in the open group.There were 243 patients in the laparoscopic group and complications included: bile leak and abdominal infection.Interventions were not reported.
