Title: comparison of application effect of stapler and suture in skin suture of patients with calcaneal fracture.The aim of this study was to compare the effect of stapler suture and suture in skin suture of patients with calcaneal fracture.Sixty patients with calcaneal fracture admitted to the department of orthopaedics of the second people's hospital of anhui province from january 2013 to october 2016 were selected and treated with plate fixation and artificial bone.The patients were randomly divided into suture instrument group (n = 30) using skin stapler and suture group (n = 30) using common suture.Suture is manufactured by johnson & johnson.Reported complications included wound redness (n=3), induration (n=2), infection (n=2), skin necrosis (n=3).In conclusion the use of disposable skin stapler in the skin suture of patients with calcaneal fracture can shorten the operation time, with good drainage effect, good postoperative incision skin healing, shorten the hospital stay, and the overall effect is superior to the common suture.
