Event Description
It was reported that balloon rupture occurred.The target lesion was located in a shunt in the posterior tibial artery.A 5.0mmx40mmx80cm (4f) sterling balloon catheter was advanced for dilation.However, during first inflation at 8 atmospheres for 10 seconds, the balloon ruptured.The device was removed, and the procedure was completed with another of same device.No patient complications were reported, and the patient is in good condition.
