Event Description
|
Medtronic received information that at the end of intervention, when surgery was finished during post-op the customer stated that they used a little force to remove the temperature probe from the fusion oxygenator and everything came off.They stated that they "saw the glue crack". there was no patient impact associated with this event.Medtronic received additional information that it was not the oxygenator arterial line connector that got disconnected.It was the oxygenator temperature probe that came loose.
