It was reported that this patient had a cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) replacement procedure, and the left ventricular (lv) lead showed connection difficulties to this new device.Apparently, the lv lead did not have the best fit for the header.However, the implanting physician concluded the case by introducing the lv lead as far as possible in this device lv header.Good measurements were obtained, and the tug test was adequate.This crt-d was successfully implanted, remains in service and no adverse patient effects were reported.
