Event Description
Medtronic received information regarding a thermal therapy system being used in a soft tissue ablation (neuro) procedure.It was reported that at the end of the whole session of ablation the site realized there was a small saline leak in the connection between the 8m saline line and the 4m saline line.The site noticed when disconnecting the lines.They had saline return during the whole session and could see the heating was cooling down when they turned off the laser.There was no reported delay to the procedure.No reported impact to the patient.
