Event Description
|
A patient¿s great saphenous vein (gsv) was treated using a venaseal closure system.The ifu was followed.The lumen was not flushed prior to use.A guidewire was used for insertion.It was reported the patient developed an allergic reaction approximately one weekpost venaseal procedure; the symptoms became worse, and the patient ended up in the emergency room (er) where prednisone and pepcid were prescribed and now the symptoms have worsened.The patient¿s body is covered in hives.No further patient injury reported for this event.
