Event Description
It was reported while implanting a locking screw in the metaglene the surgeon was unable to advance the superior locking screw enough for proper fit.The screw was sitting too proud to put on the glenosphere.The surgeon was unable to back the screw out of the bone.It became incarcerated without being able to back it out completely.Upon further attempts to remove the screw, it broke.A portion of the screw remained implanted.No adverse affects on the patient.
