Event Description
The customer, a syncardia certified hospital, reported that the companion 2 driver would not recognize the inserted batteries, even though both batteries tested full when the fuel gauge on the battery was pressed.Additionally there was no icon of a plug on the screen when the companion 2 driver was plugged into wall power.Alternate batteries were inserted and the same issue occurred.
 
Manufacturer Narrative
The companion 2 driver will be returned to syncardia for evaluation.The results will be provided in a follow-up mdr.
