On (b)(6) 2022, a patient in spain underwent a procedure for the placement of percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (peg) tube with jejunal (peg-j) tube.It was reported that during the peg tube placement, the patient's stomach was perforated.It was reported that the patient experienced stomach pain and was bedridden following the peg tube placement.On (b)(6) 2022, the patient went to the emergency room due to stomach swelling.The patient was diagnosed with peritonitis and admitted to the hospital.The patient received unknown antibiotics.In (b)(6) 2022, on an unknown date the patient was discharged from the hospital.On (b)(6) 2023, the patient experienced wetness and dilation at the stoma site.It was reported by the patient that the patient experienced a stoma site infection.No information was provided on the treatment for the stoma site.
