Event Description
|
It was reported that the patient didn't know dbs would impact future procedures.Patient stated she is satisfied with her dbs but she has skin cancer and due to the dbs device there was limited procedures they could have due to an overly cautious dermatologist.Additionally the patient has lower back pain and radiofrequency with the dbs device was discussed last minute which could have or did cause an electrical problem, resulting in last minutes changes in treatment.

Additional information received from the consumer reported the dermatologist didn¿t use the equipment for their skin cancer (mohs surgery), but instead the patient underwent an eight-week chemo program related to their skin cancer.The patient was still curious about electrocautery use and their device.
