One device was received in good condition apart from a broken reflux plug.Functional test was performed, and the reported problem was replicated as device had faulty printed wiring assembly (pwa) that only shows value "1".It was also the reason why the device was failing high temperature alarm test.A root cause was not able to be determined.A device history record (dhr) review was not performed because the device is beyond a year from its manufacture date and there was no indication of a manufacturing defect during the investigation.Service history review identified this device has not been in for service in the previous 12 months and there was no indication that the complaint was related to a previous service of the device. The printed wiring assembly (pwa), reflux plug, and water tank enclosure was replaced. After the device was repaired it passed functional tests.
