Venaseal was used for treatment of the great saphenous vein (gsv) and only one leg was treated.Hand compression was used and local anesthesia was used.The lumen was flushed prior to use.There was no issues with the location of the catheter tip prior to initial delivery of adhesive with the catheter tip positioned 5cm caudal to sfj.Compression of gsv.A few months post op the venaseal glue was exuding out of the vein that was treated.The patient went to wound care to wait out the glue coming out of the vein, however it never healed.The physician took patient to or and tried to remove as much glue as possible.Post procedure everything looked to have gone well, however as of recently the patient has started exuding glue again and is back in wound care.Update reported that the issue is still present.
