Literature was reviewed regarding cryoballoon ablation.The authors described patients who experienced pericardial effusion, symptomatic bradycardia, tachycardia, phrenic nerve palsy, lung disorder, transient ischemic attack (tia), hematoma, vascular pseudoaneurysm, impaired gastric emptying, and hospitalizations.It is unknown if any treatment or intervention was taken.The status of the catheters is unknown.No additional adverse patient effects were reported.
