Event Description
|
It was reported by the patient that the cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) had quit working as the battery was dead.At one point they woke up on the floor and felt as if they had been hit by a bolt of lightning.The patient wondered what went wrong with the device and why it didn't last very long.The patient said they had just been walking around with the device not working at all.During the replacement procedure, "they hit a blood vessel".The next night, the area by the device was swelled up and getting hot and the patient had blood under their skin that was very colorful with a streak going down to their ribs. no further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.

Additional information received by the patient noted that the device quit on them.Patient reported that they have been stressed with their mother¿s death and that their sister is trying to manipulate the ¿will¿.The patient reported that their sister is trying to kill them with stress.The patient also reported that when the device quit it wasn¿t a pleasant experience.The patient noted that they were watching monday night football and at two in the morning their whole body bounced off the floor and slammed back on the floor.The patient revealed that they saw a white light and thought ¿maybe this is it¿.
