Event Description
It was reported that an amia device experienced an unspecified low priority alarm (max air exceeded) alarm.The patient was connected at the time of the alarm.This occurred after the fill stage of peritoneal dialysis therapy.There was nothing unusual found during troubleshooting that would cause or contribute to the alarm.The care giver cleared the alarm and restarted therapy with all new supplies.There was no report of patient injury or medical intervention associated with this event.No additional information is available.
 
Manufacturer Narrative
H10: three (3) samples were received for evaluation.Visual inspection did not identify any abnormalities that could have contributed to the reported condition.Functional testing including leak, clear passage, and clamp function testing were performed with no issues noted.The reported condition was not verified.A batch review was conducted and there were no deviations found related to this condition during the manufacture of this lot.This alarm was not associated with a reported death or serious injury, or a malfunction that could result in a death or serious injury.Should additional relevant information become available, a supplemental report will be submitted.
