It was reported that the warmer reaches overtemperature after five minutes.Patient involvement is unknown.

Other text: additional information: h6 - health impact codes.D10, h3, h6 - evaluation codes: updated.Device evaluation: one device was returned for investigation.Visual inspection noted: device was received in poor condition.Enclosure was cracked under quick connect.Quick connect was corroded.Line cord was faded.Front cover was faded and has nicks out of it.Water tank cover was cracked on upper left side.Power switch cable and power switch retainer are connected to the old printed circuit board (pcb).Functional testing confirmed the complaint; the pump did not turn on to circulate the water.The device overheated due to the failed water pump.The root cause could not bee identified.A manufacturing device history report (dhr) review was not performed because the device is beyond a year from its manufacture date and there was no indication of a manufacturing defect during the investigation.Service history review identified this device has not been in for service previously.No action taken due to the condition of the device.It is deemed beyond economical repair and will be scrapped.
