Event Description
It was reported that the patients complained of urination when awakened after the surgery, even though urine was flowing through the catheter.The doctor stated that it was little thicker than a normal balloon because it contained a temperature sensor, so it could have stimulated urination.There was no damage directly caused to the patient by the balloon.There have been cases of people getting up and falling off the bed to urinate despite being under anesthesia.
