Event Description
Literature was reviewed regarding cardiac conduction system pacing (csp) versus conventional cardiac resynchronization therapy (crt).The authors described three complications after csp.There was one patient who developed mechanical mitral valve endocarditis which culminated in death six months post implantation.There was one patient who experienced wound dehiscence which required reintervention approximately one month post implant.There was one lead which exhibited a significant increase in right ventricular (rv) pacing threshold and non-capture which required reprogramming.The status of the devices and lead is unknown.No additional adverse patient effects or product performance issues were reported.
