Event Description
|
Medtronic received information regarding an imaging system used outside of a procedure in which there was no patient involvement.It was reported that the system returned with perceived accuracy issues.It had controller area network (can) communication issues.The probable cause noted was a bad connection to the can port connecting the image acquisition system (ias) to the mobile viewing station (mvs).Troubleshooting was present.The can issue was triggered by a bad connection in the umbilical connector panel.
