Event Description
It was reported via clinical study that the 75 yo male patient experienced aseptic glenoid loosening, with shoulder pain increase since last visit ((b)(6) 2016).It was reported that the x-rays showed glenoid loosening. The surgeon requested a ct-scan to confirm possibility of revision surgery. The outcome was last known as resolved on (b)(6) 2017.

Manufacturer Narrative
The revision reported was likely the result of an insufficient bond between the glenoid component and the bone and/or patient-related conditions, which led to aseptic (non-infected) glenoid loosening. However, this cannot be confirmed as the devices were not returned for evaluation, and images and radiographs were not provided.
