Event Description
|
A patient was treated with venaseal on in the great saphenous vein (gsv).Only one leg was treated.No challenges with the location of the catheter tip prior to initial delivery of the adhesive and the catheter tip was 5cm caudal to sfj.Compression was used as per ifu and the vein closed.Post treatment after a week patient had noticed multiple oozing infected ulcers across the site.The doctor put the patient on antibiotics for a week.Post that patient didn't came for follow up and no further information available.
