Email is: (b)(6).Evaluation codes: updated.Device evaluation: one device was returned for investigation.Visual inspection found a corroded drain fitting, cracked tank cover, broken led's, and damaged micro switch.Functional testing found the no disposable alarm was sounding and flashing; confirming the customer complaint.Root cause was attributed to a damaged micro switch. The arm is severed from the body of the switch. It was thought the broken microswitch lever happened from usage. The product's history records were reviewed and there were no non-conformance's nor service-related issues that would have resulted in the reported complaint. No action taken due to the condition of the device. It is deemed beyond economical repair and will be scrapped.
