Event Description
|
A venaseal closure system was used for treatment of the great saphenous vein (gsv) on the (b)(6) 2023.Local anesthesia was used.The vein closed.It was reported immediately following procedure, the patient experienced chest pain.Bp 190/103.Patient experienced palpitations and nitro was given.Ventricular runs up to 4 beats.Patient was monitored for an hour with ekg.The symptoms did not improve for over an hour.At that time physician contacted an ambulance and patient was brought to hospital.Patient stayed overnight and went home the next day without event.Next day felt better and was seen 1 week later and felt much better.
