Medtronic received an abstract titled 'post cyanoacrylate allergic reaction (pocar) after cyanoacrylate closure operation for varicose vein'.A total 862 patients, 2564 incompetent gsv <(>&<)> ssv were treated with cac procedure.There were 577 patients of allergic reaction (pocar) (66.9%) the location was 1 and 2 (92.8% and 7.2%) the duration time was a, b, c (87.6%, 11.8%, 0.6%).Pocar were ia, ib, ic(87.3%, 5.2%, 0.3%).Pocar were 2a.2b.2c(0.3%, 6.6%, 0.3%).Usually pocar is improved with short period anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory agents.But in some cases it is terribly severe and long lasting.We report 2 severe long lasting pocar(2c) cases, eventually had operation to remove it.
