Event Description
It was reported that during a cryo ablation procedure for premature ventricular contractions (pvcs) near the bundle of his, after the third ablation.One pvc occurred.During the fourth ablation, the pvc resolved and the atrioventricular (av) conduction was prolonged resulting in stopping the ablation.After the ablation stopped, the patient developed an atrioventricular block (avb).The patient's intrinsic rhythm did not return to normal.A temporary pacemaker was implanted. the temporary pacemaker was removed and a permanent pacemaker has not been implanted yet.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
