|
Medtronic received information regarding a navigation device being used intra-operatively during a sacroiliac and thoracolumbar procedure.It was reported that after taking a two dimensional scout image, it was grainy and showed no anatomy.There was a surgical delay of less than one hour.No further information.

Additional information was received.It was reported that there were no additional spins and no additional radiation exposure to the patient.It was noted to be the exact same amount of radiation that would be used in a standard case.There were two people in the room at the time of the event, besides the patient, there was the manufacturing representative (rep) and the radiology technician.
