Event Description
|
It was reported that the patient had a recurrence of left hemicoroal dystonic crisis, as well as their implantable neurostimulator (ins) having "out of range" high impedances.It required a drop in current or switch to voltage stimulation mode.High impedances in particular were on the contact used 2- to 4980 ohms.Therapy impedances were not calculable.They stopped stimulation and the patient's symptoms clearly worsened with motor skills (rigidity and akinesia).Medications were administered to the patient and the issue was resolved without sequelae on (b)(6) 2021.
