Event Description
During the index procedure one resolute onyx drug eluting stent was implanted in the left anterior descending artery (lad).Approximately 49 months post procedure the patient suffered from coronary atherosclerotic heart disease.The patient was admitted due to episodic chest pain for 5 years which was aggravated for 3 days.Angiography results showed that the left main was roughly normal, the lad branch had stent patency, the distal segment had scattered 10-20% stenosis, the circumflex had distal occlusion.The event was classified as a target vessel myocardial infarction (mi) in the lad.The event was treated with medication and a percutaneous coronary intervention.Drug coated balloon treatment restored timi blood flow to level 3.The operation process was stated to be smooth.The patient recovered.
