Event Description
|
It was reported that during a cryo ablation procedure, after a successful transeptal puncture, pericardial effusion was noted due to decreased blood pressure.Emergency drainage was performed, but it did not go well.It was suspected that the drain moved because the drainage did not do anything, the thickness of the pericardium did not decrease or increase after the removal of 800ml of blood.Blood transfusion was performed.The patient was sent to thoracic surgery.A small breach was seen in the right ventricle.There was no longer a bleeding.The patient was in intensive care.The case was aborted.The patient was not under general anesthesia. no further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
