Event Description
|
A venaseal closure system was used for treatment of a patients left and right leg.The patient expressed that the procedure was extremely painful which the physician mentioned is due to vein spasms.The patient developed a blood clot in the left leg after the venaseal procedure when a piece of the glue broke off and ended up in a major vein.The patient was placed on blood thinners.Patient expressed that legs and feet are still significantly swollen after the procedure.No further patient injury reported.
