Event Description
|
It was reported that electrogram (egm) review was requested for this cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) system due to diverted shocks and competing therapy zones.Upon review, anti-tachycardia pacing (atp) was delivered and the ventricular tachycardia (vt) zone retained control of the episode due to undersensing. The initial shock was diverted and therapy was delayed, however the subsequent charge was delivered and ventricular fibrillation (vf) was converted. This crt-d remains in service. No additional adverse patient effects were reported.
