Event Description
It was reported that the wireless recharger (wr) keeps blinking red, the patient can't get it to stop, and they have a hard time charging. The patient has complained in the past that it sometimes had problems charging. The patient still has an older charger, but because their strength is so high, they have to spend almost all day charging with it.Additional information was received on 2023-aug-14 reporting that the patient does not have the recharger application. The recharger has not been reset yet.The patient was advised that they could do that in case the wireless recharger was not functioning properly. The recharger was charging properly. If they turned the recharger off and back on, the light on the recharger turns green and works as intended. It was also mentioned that recharging took longer than normal. It was indicated that it is possible that the ins is a bit tilted or little bit too deep, which could make in more difficult to find an optimal connection between the ins and the recharger. This could result in longer recharger sessions or interrupted recharger sessions. Then it was mentioned that the patient experiences some tunnel vision and nausea only during recharging. They might think that the extensions are in front of the ins.If this was the case, it could possibly causing some interference when recharging the neurostimulator. The patient is going to contact the doctor to look further into the position of the ins in the body and if the extensions are in front of the ins.
