An adhesive issue was reported with the abbott diabetes care (adc) sensor.The sensor prematurely detached after fourteen days or less of wear and the customer was unable to obtain readings or monitor glucose levels.As a result, customer experienced a loss of consciousness, "thirst", "dizziness", and was unable to self-treat, requiring third-party treatment of "bolus of insulin" (type/dose unspecified) by a non-healthcare professional.Customer additionally reported contacting their healthcare professional (hcp) who recommended increasing their insulin dosage; no further treatment reported.There was no report of death or permanent injury associated with this event.
