Event Description
|
It was reported that during a cryo ablation procedure, the patient's phrenic nerve was injured and phrenic capture was lost.The phrenic nerve injury (pni) was transient.The outcome of this case is unknown.It was also reported that the day following the cryo ablation procedure, the patient had an esophageal fistula and was subsequently admitted to the emergency department. no further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
