Manufacturer Narrative
Evaluation codes: updated device evaluation: one device was returned for investigation.Visual inspection noted: device received very dirty with a few customer stickers on it, front cover has multiple gouges out of the paint, line cord faded, quick connect corroded, pole clamp discolored, out dated printed circuit board (pcb) and outdated power switch.Functional testing found the device turned on for a short time and then turned off.Pump was also very loud.Root cause was attributed to a faulty pcb.Possible power switch connection failure on an outdated pcb board may have occurred from wear of use; known for causing power issues. The product's history records were reviewed and there were no non-conformances nor service-related issues that would have resulted in the reported complaint. No action taken due to the condition of the device. It is deemed beyond economical repair and will be scrapped.
