Event Description
It was reported that the patient interacted with external equipment and was electrocuted by the equipment, passed out, and may have received another shock from the implantable cardioverter defibrillator (icd) due to the external electromagnetic interference (emi) exposure.The device remains in use.It was further reported that the right ventricular (rv) lead alerted for defibrillator impedance out of range.The lead sensing was temporarily reprogrammed from rv-tip to rv-coil and oversensing was noted.The lead remains in use.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.

Event Description
It was further reported that the superior vena cava (svc) coil had high impedance on the rv lead.The rv lead had lead noise and oversensing with left arm movement.
