Event Description
Medtronic received information regarding an imaging system being used during a sacroiliac and thoracolumbar procedure.It was reported that there was an unusual smell when the system was performing a spin.There was no delay and no impact on patient outcome.Additional information was received.It was reported that the probable cause could have been the batteries venting that created a smell in the room.
