|
It was reported that during a bench test, the device failed preventive maintenance.There was no alarm for the temperature being too high.No adverse effects, harm or injury occurred.

Other text: d10, h3 and h6 - evaluation codes: updated.Device evaluation: one device was returned for investigation.Visual inspection found the device was received with front cover and enclosure having gouges in them.Quick connect was corroded.Printed circuit board (pcb) was missing an led.Pole clamp was discolored.Line cord faded.Water tank was contaminated with rust.Functional testing found the over "temp" did not alarm and the pump did not circulate.The complaint was confirmed.Root cause was attributed to a faulty printed circuit board (pcb).What caused this condition could not be established.The product's history records were reviewed and there were no non-conformances nor service-related issues that would have resulted in the reported complaint.No action taken due to the condition of the device.It is deemed beyond economical repair and will be scrapped.
