Event Description
It was reported that the device was on but had no circulation.Device will start to alarm for "over-temp" if left on for 1-2 minutes.Patient involvement is unknown.

Other, other text: d10.Device available for evaluation; h3.Device evaluated by manufacturer and h6.Evaluation codes: updated.One device was received.Per visual inspection, the device had cracked water tank cover on the bottom, corroded quick connect, line cord faded and worn, dual thermistor corroded, front cover had scratches and nicks in the paint, reflux plug faded.Per functional testing, the pump was not circulating.The complaint was confirmed.The root cause was a faulty water pump not recirculating water resulting in overheating.It was unknown what caused the pump to become faulty.The product's history records were reviewed and there were no non-conformances nor service-related issues that would have resulted in the reported complaint.Replaced pump, dual thermistor, quick drain connect, water tank cover, front cover, line cord, reflux plug.Performed preventative maintenance (pm) and calibrated.The device passed all functional and delivery tests., corrected data: e1: facility name, corrected.
