Event Description
|
It was reported that electrogram (egm) review of this cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) system revealed atrial signals, however there was no atrial lead and the atrial port plugged. It was determined that atrial sensing was on and the port was still electrically active, thus it was oversensing crosschamber signals from the right ventricle. It was suspected that the device not programmed appropriately at implant to account for no ra lead. The patient will be brought in to the clinic for reprogramming. This crt-d remains in service. No adverse patient effects were reported.
