Event Description
|
According to the reporter, during liver ablation, the tip of antenna broke off in the patient after ablation on one lesion was performed.Ablation was performed on a colorectal cancer metastatic lesion in the liver.Ablation was performed at 150 w for 4 minutes.Antenna was removed and then upon reinserting to ablate a second lesion, the tip of the antenna fell off in subcutaneous tissues (and remains there - not removed).Another antenna was used to complete the procedure.
